Meitheal 2018 was a two day event jam-packed with travel and tourism industry folks as far as the eye can see. We were there flying the flag for Glasnevin Cemetery Museum and we enjoyed our time there immensely.
Meitheal is an annual conference run by Fáilte Ireland and it is very significant to the Irish tourism industry. It is the largest travel trade event in the country and plays host to over 300 overseas tour operators from 20+ countries.
This year the event took place in Dublin's City West Hotel over April 17th and 18th.
This is Glasnevin Cemetery Museum's sixth outing at Meitheal and yet again, it was an incredible experience! There was so much energy in the room and it was fantastic to meet so many fellow travel industry representatives from all over the globe. This event really showcased what Ireland has to offer to the international tourism industry.
Overall the event was a huge success and we take our hat off to Fáilte Ireland for really going the extra mile for those of us working in the industry. We are already looking forward to Meitheal 2019!
