We are delighted to say that the Educational Programme From Glasnevin to the Great War has officially begun in the museum. This project received funding from the Heritage Council 2018 and is part of a series of nationwide events to mark the fact that 2018 is the European Year of Cultural Heritage. Local schools are visiting Glasnevin Cemetery Museum to learn about the heritage of their localities and the links between the First World War, Europe and Ireland. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
You can find out more about this initiative at the Heritage Council's website here https://www.heritagecouncil.ie/ and do follow #EuropeForCulture for updates on the initiative on social media.
