Joe Connell, author of the best selling "Michael Collins Dublin 1916-22" will be interviewed live by Marcus Howard, filmmaker of Easter Rising Stories. Joe's new book "The Shadow War: Michael Collins and The Politics of Violence" will be discussed. Joe and Marcus have made 3 films on Michael Collins early years with members of Michael Collins family. In this interesting discussion on Saturday, October 19th, the topic examined will be Michael Collins and the war of secrets and focus on the intrigue and behind the scenes nature of the War of Independence. 2pm upstairs in Glasnevin Cemetery Museum.
