12.30pm Wreath laying ceremony at the crypt of Daniel O'Connell, followed by the annual O'Connell Lecture given this year by Jimmy Deenihan TD, Minister for the Diaspora.

Order of Events 

12.30pm Wreath Laying Ceremony will take place at the entrance of the O' Connell Crypt

12.50pm  Guests will begin to move in to the museum 

1.00pm Welcome & Introduction by Mr. John Green, Chairman, Glasnevin Trust

1.05pm Lecture by Jimmy Deenihan TD, Minister for the Diaspora will commence. Title: Daniel O' Connell and Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington.

1.45pm Q & A Session 

1.50pm Chairman/CEO to say words of thanks. Announcement to be made that refreshments will be available in the Prospect Gallery.
