Raising of Tri-Colour
Learn the Story of Edward Hollywood weaver of the first Irish Tricolour in 1848. Green, white and orange based on that of the second French Republic - red, white and blue. Edward was an associate of William Smith O'Brien and Thomas Francis Meagher, died in 1873. Buried here in Glasnevin Cemetery.
