Join us for a Joycean Tour of Glasnevin Cemetery, the heart of the Hibernian necropolis. Glasnevin Cemetery has many links to Joyce's life and writing. As you walk the route of the Hades chapter of Ulysses you will encounter a host of Joycean characters, as well as his teachers, contemporaries and not least the final resting place of his parents.
Our annual Bloomsday celebrations include a series of events Including a Joycean tour of the cemetery itself. All tickets include entrance into Glasnevin Cemetery Museum.
The Joycean Tour takes place at 12pm. Places Limited, Booking Essential.
The re-enactment of the funeral procession of Paddy Dignam from Episode 6, 'Hades', of Ulysses. Performed by the 'Joycestagers' will take place at 11.30am.
Joycean costume is most welcome.
A special Joycean breakfast and lunch will also be available in the Museum's Tower Café.
