Easter Sunday Commemoration
IRELAND 2016 CENTENARY PROGRAMME
COMMEMORATIVE CEREMONIES ON EASTER SUNDAY 27TH MARCH 2016 AT SIGERSON MONUMENT, AND EDWARD HOLLYWOOD AND PEADAR KEARNEY GRAVES
As part of the Ireland 2016 State Centenary Programme, special wreath-laying ceremonies will take place in Glasnevin Cemetery, Finglas Road Dublin 11. on Easter Sunday, 27 March 2016, commencing at 9.30 a.m. sharp, to conclude at 10.30am.
The Ceremonies will take place at the :-
a) Sigerson Monument, to remember all who served during the Easter Rising
b) Grave of Edward Hollywood, weaver, who with Thomas Meagher brought the Irish Tricolour from France and
c) Grave of Peadar Kearney, author of the Soldiers' Song - Amhrán na bhFiann
A limited number of tickets (one per person) will be available for members of the public
This ticket allows access to the Sigerson and Kearney ceremonies at the single public standing area adjacent to the Church and O'Connell Tower at Glasnevin Cemetery. Please remain in this area for the full duration of the programme of ceremonies.
Please book your place here and an official ticket will be emailed to you separately, which must be shown on the day with ID. There is no charge for this event.
Please note that parking facilities will not be available at Glasnevin Cemetery for the duration of the ceremonies.
You are encouraged to use public transport where available and to dress for inclement weather.

You may gain access via Gate Number 3, on the Finglas Road, which will be open at 8.50 a.m. You are requested to be in place by 9.20 a.m.
There is no guarantee of entry after this time.

Mar chuid den Chlár Comórtha Stáit Éire 2016, reáchtálfar searmanais speisialta fleascleagain i Reilig Ghlas Naíon, Bóthar Fhionnghlaise, Baile Átha Cliath 11 Domhnach Cásca an 27 Márta 2016, a thosóidh ag 9.30 a.m. díreach agus a chríochnóidh ag 10.30 a.m.
Reáchtálfar na Searmanais ag:-
a) Séadchomhartha Sigerson, i gcuimhne ar gach duine a d'fhóin le linn Éirí Amach na Cásca
b) Uaigh Edward Hollywood, fíodóir, a thug Bratach na dTríDhath anall as an bhFrainc in éineacht le Thomas Meagher agus
c) Uaigh Pheadair Kearney, údar Amhrán na bhFiann
Ní bheidh ach líon teoranta ticéad (ceann amháin in aghaidh an duine) ar fáil don phobal.
Leis an ticéad sin, beidh cead isteach chuig searmanais Sigerson agus Kearney go dtí an áit seasaimh don phobal amháin in aice leis an Séipéal agus le Túr Uí Chonaill ag Reilig Ghlas Naíon. Fan ansin fad agus a bheidh an searmanas ar siúl le do thoil.
Cuir d'áit in áirithe anseo agus seolfar ticéad oifigiúil chugat ar ríomhphost. Beidh ort an ticéad agus cárta aitheantais a thaispeáint ar an lá. Ní bheidh aon táille i gceist don ócáid seo.
Tabhair faoi deara le do thoil nach mbeidh saoráidí páirceála ar fáil i Reilig Ghlas Naíon fad agus a bheidh na searmanais ar siúl.
