Glasnevin Trust is pleased to present an evening of free events at Glasnevin Cemetery Museum for Culture Night.
Explore our award winning interactive museum exhibition that features everything from our archives, grave digging & grave robbing, conversations amongst past grave diggers, to our exhibition on Daniel O'Connell and our Milestone Timeline that explores the life and death of 200 of the more famous residents of Glasnevin Cemetery.
Museum Open Free of charge from 5pm to 9pm
Glasnevin Cemetery Museum also invites you to experience an exclusive tour of the crypt of Cemetery founder and Catholic Emancipator Daniel O'Connell that lies beneath the iconic O'Connell Tower.
The Daniel O'Connell Tower is the largest Round Tower in Ireland. For Culture Night this year, join in a conversation with Daniel O'Connell about his life and what he did for Glasnevin Cemetery and Ireland.
Tours are at 5.30pm, 6.00pm Children's special crypt tour, 6.30pm and 7.00pm. Each tour lasts twenty minutes. These tours are free but booking is essential.
