Blessing of Remembrance & Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. Sunday 13th December 2015 at 4.00pm

Taking place in Glasnevin Cemetery at the New Angels Graves on Sunday 13th December 2015. 4.00pm onwards.

Light refreshments will be served in the Museum afterwards.

This year we have decided to hold two Blessings of Remembrance in Glasnevin Cemetery. The first takes place in May at the Old Angels Memory Garden where we will have parents, family and friends taking part whose babies are buried in both the old and the new burial areas. We hope you will all come along and join in our special way of remembering ALL the children buried in Glasnevin.

As many of you will know, the proposed work on the New Angels graves is due to start in April/May of this year. For that reason and obviously for the health and safety of managing a large crowd on the day we have postponed our Blessing at the New Angels graves until December, this will also incorporate the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.
