Literary tour

Seniors are invited to experience the literary tour at Glasnevin Cemetery. Explore the graves of Gerard Manley Hopkins, Brendan Behan, James Clarence Mangan, John Keegan Casey, Dora Sigerson Shorter, Maude Gonne, James Larkin, John O'Leary and Zozimus (Michael Moran). 
The tour will feature poems and writings said by or about these great cultural and literary figures that all made Glasnevin Cemetery their final resting place.
Participants will be given the opportunity to choose from a list of figures that they will meet on the tour to take away with them and create their own poem or recite an existing poem or story. Then the participants are then invited back in two weeks time to present their poem or interpretation at the figures grave.
