This centenary year, Glasnevin Cemetery Museum will hold guided tours of the graves of combatants and civilians involved in, and affected by the 1916 Rising, telling the story of the dramatic events of a century ago that shaped Ireland as we know it today

The story of Glasnevin Cemetery and those buried here is central to the history of the 1916 Rebellion. The full significance of this will be further explored in the 1916 Rising Centenary Exhibition at Glasnevin Cemetery Museum.
