Spring Lecture Series #1

The first lecture in our Spring Lecture Series which is produced in conjunction with Trinity College Dublin, School of History and Humanities.
Title: Archives, ashes and amnesia: the life, death and resurrection of the Public Record Office of Ireland.
Speaker: Dr Ciarán Wallace, Beyond 2022 Project, TCD
Bio: Ciarán Wallace is Deputy Director of Beyond 2022: Ireland's Virtual Record Treasury, a state-funded collaboration at Trinity College Dublin between historians, archivists and computer scientists to virtually recreate, as far as possible, the collections lost in the destructon of the Four Courts in 1922.
