  • Births, Marriages and Death Registersensus Records and Substitute Directories
  • Church Records
  • Doctors' Records
  • DNA
  • DMP (Dublin Metropolitan Police)

Along with the talks, there will be hubs on the day dedicated to specialist records where you can go to have an in-depth conversation with a subject matter expert in the areas outlined above.  Please note that there will a time limit at each hub to ensure that the flow keeps moving on the day.

This event promises to be engaging and interactive so feel free to bring your work along and to discuss any challenges or ‘brick walls’ that you have encountered on your family history journey so far.  You will be in the right place to find solutions to them!

There will be time allowed towards the end of the event to search for graves in the cemetery.

The speakers and facilitators will be bringing examples of their work along on the day to share with you.

There will be handouts and research packs full of hints and tips for you take away! Lunch is also included in the ticket price.

Please note that on the day event registration will begin at 9.15am.  Also if you are travelling by car there is onsite parking available for €2.00 per hour or across the road at St.Pauls which is €2.00 for the day.
